I'm nearly mortified by the prospect of this album. It is a drinking game. That's
right, the album is a drinking game. The liner notes have instructions. I realize
the album is a bit tongue-in-cheek, over the top rock n roll semi-spoof. But you
know, I actually find this kind of fun! Hahaha. I guess that's the point. It's just
plain out nothing-to-it classic rock n roll. A little punk, a little metal, and a
lot of lyrics about partying and beer. It's hilarious - but not even unpleasant to
listen to, or so ridiculous that you focus entirely on the humour of it all. The
style might get old fast but I suspect if you're playing the drinking game that goes
with it, the album probably actually gets better as you go through it. It's pretty
banal. Men, beer, weekends, gettin' some, loud music, partying, chicks are brats.
But they're hot. Hah. This is pretty awesome. The hangover song "Suffering" is a bit
gross. Ew, did we really need the sampled puking sounds?? At least they cover all
aspects of partying. Sampled phone conversations... yeah this is a true bachelor's
album
Song of choice :
"Shoulda Been Nice To Me." Hahahah. Such stupid fun.
